CENTRAL ILLINOIS

Bold & Beautiful Boudoir was inspired while Christie was designing her new studio space. All the small details were geared towards a high end boudoir studio. Especially the bathroom suite.

Sonshine Portrait Design is a second generation portrait studio operating out of Germantown Hills Illinois. Christie's passion for photography started at an early age working with her mother Barb who established the studio in 1977. Christie took over the shooting in 2002. Growing up surrounded by the love of photography, Christie is proud to carry on her mother's dream and now owns the business.

The studio, "Sonshine Portrait Design", was relocated to Germantown Hills in 2006 and in 2021 Christie's husband and stepdad built an addition on to the home. While newborns were Christie's specialty, she has developed a love for empowering women through boudoir portraiture. Christie feels that by getting to know each client individually, she can create a product as unique as they are. The end result is a portrait tailor made for each client. Christie's talent for design, light, and final composition to her art work sets her apart from her competition. Personality and attention to detail keeps clients coming back.

ATLANTA

While life brings opportunities Christie believes in taking those moments and growing. Her husbands job has them relocating to Atlanta, GA. She has already been taking on new clients in the Atlanta area. Until she finds the perfect studio space there she will be doing on location sessions. Each location is carefully and specifically picked to bring out Christie’s true style.

NASHVILLE

Nashville is now just a skip and hop away from Atlanta. Christie will be booking out reservations a few times a year in a Nashville location.

TRAVEL

Travel is a piece of Christie’s heart. She travels often to photography organizations and speaks to other photographers on Bold & Beautiful Boudoir, Fine Art Maternity and Newborn Photography. When she is booked for these events she stays a couple extra days to fit in some Bold & Beautiful sessions. Advertising mainly through social media and word of mouth. So even if you aren't located in Central Illinois you can still join the VIP facebook group for details.

When she does these ON THE GO sessions she finds state of the art places to shoot in that is true to her style! The reservation fee still includes your hair and make up and I find the artist to bring in for those sessions.

WANT ME TO COME TO YOU

Christie gets a lot of inquiries on traveling to the client. Guess what.... ABSOLUTELY! As stated above she loves to travel so getting to go to new places are what she thrives on.

There are a couple ways of doing it. If you want Christie to come to you and its you only. You would cover her flight, hotel and the reservation fee.

If you get 3 other ladies interested Christie would cover the flight and stay. You each would just pay the reservation fee as normal. Where is the next adventure?
